Inviting Guests

The visitation system is one of EstateMate's most powerful features, allowing you to manage who enters your property with ease and security.

Creating an Invite

1. Open the Visitations tab in your dashboard.
2. Click on Create Invite.
3. Enter the visitor's name and either a phone number or an email so they can receive the access code.
4. Optionally add an ID card number for the record.
5. If they are bringing helpers, add each companion with a name and a phone number or ID card number. Only the main visitor is notified.
6. (Optional) Specify if they are driving and provide their vehicle registration number.

Sharing the Invite

Once created, a secure access code is sent to the main visitor by SMS or email.

At the gate

When a visitor arrives without a pass, the guard records a phone number or ID card number (email only if neither is available), the plot they are visiting, and any companions. The plot owner receives one notification for the whole group — the main visitor plus how many people are with them — and can approve or decline that single request.

When a guest arrives with a pre-arranged pass:

1. They present the QR code to the security guard.
2. The guard scans the code using the EstateMate Guard App.
3. You will receive an instant notification that your guest has arrived and been granted entry.

Revoking Access

If your plans change, you can revoke an active invite at any time from your dashboard. Once revoked, the QR code will no longer grant entry.
