Property Setup
Guide for managers on setting up a new estate or property.
Property Setup
Setting up your estate correctly is crucial for smooth operations. This guide walks you through the initial configuration.
1. Create your Organization
Everything starts with an Organization. This represents your estate, apartment complex, or gated community.
- Name: The official name of the property.
- Location: Physical address for mapping and visitor directions.
- Logo: Upload your estate logo for branded invites and receipts.
2. Defining Units
Break down your property into manageable units:
- Blocks/Buildings: The main structures.
- Units/Floors: Individual apartments, houses, or offices.
- Hierarchy: You can nest units (e.g., Block A -> Floor 2 -> Apt 201).
3. Inviting Staff
Add your team to the platform:
- Admins: Full access to all settings and financial data.
- Managers: Can manage residents and units but may have limited financial access.
- Security Guards: Access to the Guard App for scanning visitor codes.
4. Setting up Rules
Configure estate-wide policies:
- Visitor Hours: When guests are allowed entry.
- Late Fees: Automated penalties for overdue payments.
- Emergency Contacts: Numbers displayed to residents in the app.
